Looking ahead to 2026, the Governor announced plans to further strengthen the health sector through the establishment of a dialysis centre in Gashua to provide relief to kidney patients across the zone. He also disclosed that the government will construct a new General Hospital in Potiskum to ease pressure on the Potiskum Specialist Hospital and improve access to quality healthcare services.
